Der Artikel diskutiert, welche Potenziale intersektionale Perspektiven für Auswahl- und Ordnungsprozesse historischen Wissens für das Historische Lexikon der Schweiz (HLS) haben. Ausgehend von einer Diskussion der «Lexikonwürdikeit» mit Bezug auf die Geschichte des HLS werden die bisherigen Inhalte in intersektionaler Perspektive betrachtet und die Prozesse analysiert, die Auswahl und Produktion zu Grunde liegen. Zuletzt werden die Herausforderungen und Perspektiven intersektionaler Ansätze im HLS am Beispiel des Themenkomplexes «koloniale Schweiz» aufgezeigt.

The article discusses the potential of intersectional perspectives for the selection and organisation of historical knowledge within the Historical Dictionary of Switzerland (HLS). Starting with a discussion of ‘encyclopaedic worthiness’ in relation to the history of the HLS, the existing content is examined from an intersectional perspective and the processes underpinning its selection and production are analysed. Finally, the challenges and prospects of intersectional approaches in the HLS are illustrated using the example of the topic of ‘colonial Switzerland’.
