Cet article examine le potentiel des perspectives intersectionnelles pour les processus de sélection et d’organisation des connaissances historiques dans le Dictionnaire historique de la Suisse (DHS). Partant d’une réflexion sur la «pertinence encyclopédique» au regard de l’histoire du DHS, il examine les contenus existants sous un angle intersectionnel et analyse les processus qui sous-tendent la sélection et la production. Enfin, les défis et les perspectives des approches intersectionnelles au sein du HLS sont mis en évidence à l’aide de l’exemple du thème «la Suisse coloniale».
English abstract
The article discusses the potential of intersectional perspectives for the selection and organisation of historical knowledge within the Historical Dictionary of Switzerland (HLS). Starting with a discussion of ‘encyclopaedic worthiness’ in relation to the history of the HLS, the existing content is examined from an intersectional perspective and the processes underpinning its selection and production are analysed. Finally, the challenges and prospects of intersectional approaches in the HLS are illustrated using the example of the topic of ‘colonial Switzerland’.
